Effective Date: February 1st, 2025

Due to the recent tariff increase on imported goods from Canada to the U.S., the duty rate on gold jewelry has increased from 5.5% to 25%. At Bellisa Jewellery, we understand the impact this change has on our valued U.S. customers. To support you, we are implementing a Duty Refund Policy to help offset the additional tariff costs.

1. Duty Refund Eligibility & Process

We offer a refund for the extra duty amount paid due to the tariff increase. The refund will cover the difference between the previous 5.5% duty rate and the new 25% duty rate.

To be eligible for this refund, customers must:

  • Provide a customs duty payment link(preferred) or an official receipt from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
  • Submit proof of payment, such as a customs invoice or official receipt showing the paid duty amount breakdown.

Once verified, we will issue a refund of the extra duty(19.5%) via the original method of payment.

Note: The refund applies only to the extra duty amount and does not cover additional customs brokerage fees or other charges.

2. Final Sale Policy for U.S. Orders

Due to the duty refund program, all U.S. orders will be considered final sales and will not be eligible for returns/exchange under our standard 7-day return policy. Please ensure that your order details, including ring size, engraving, and specifications, are correct before finalizing your purchase.

3. Exclusions on Promotions, Discounts & Offers

All promotions, discount codes, and special offers are not applicable to U.S. orders affected by the new tariff regulations. This ensures we can continue offering duty refunds while maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship and service.

4. Duty Payment Verification Process

To prevent fraudulent claims and ensure a fair refund process, we will verify all duty payments before issuing a refund.

Customers must provide at least one of the following for verification:

  • A direct customs duty payment link from the shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS).
  • A full PDF invoice or official receipt from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) showing the duty calculation, entry number, and payment confirmation.

Bellisa Jewellery reserves the right to deny any refund request if:

  • The submitted documentation is incomplete, altered, or falsified.
  • The duty amount appears inconsistent with the order value and tariff rate.
  • The customer fails to provide verifiable proof of payment.

5. Additional Notes

  • Customers are responsible for any additional customs processing fees or delays.
  • This policy applies only to orders shipped to the United States. Other international orders remain subject to their respective import duties and policies.
  • Bellisa Jewellery reserves the right to amend this policy at any time based on regulatory changes or business needs.
